So far, so good

Dr. Hollis called this morning. Roxy is up “hopping” around, eating and even wagging her tail at Dr. Hollis’ daughter! I wasn’t able to eat all day yesterday, I nibbled on breakfast this morning, but after the vet’s call I am starving! I’m so proud of our girl. Now I just wish I could see her, but that’s not going to happen until tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully things will keep looking up. Roxy deserves a break on something in her life.

DON’T MAKE YOURSELF SICK, Mom! Roxy will be fine!

Take it from someone that has made herself sick from worrying about a special little dog! I hear ya! But it doesn’t help either one of you. I can say that because I’ve been doing it for 11 years.
It’s hard to see them suffer in the slightest!

My deformed Comet came from a “hoarder” of neglect. 22 dogs stuffed in a house. Most were put down. She survived. But not without suffering emotional issues. Forget the part where she hops on 3 legs from a leg deformity, she’s a trauma dog!

So, just be very happy she found YOU! And you found HER! Count your blessings that she has a wonderful home that will take care of her and her bad life is in the past. And think about the wonderful times you are going to have in the future!

Keep us updated! Here’s wishing you happy thoughts until tomorrow!

Roxy will be so pleased to see you I’m sure. Give her a BIG HUGE HUG and lots of nose kisses. Hear’s to continued progress. We’ll be thinking of you both.
